Campus Crush Safety Guidelines

No app can guarantee anyone's safety. Here is what Campus Crush does, and what you can do, to keep meeting people as safe as possible.

Draft, pending legal review. This page describes our intended approach and will be finalised before launch. Items in [brackets] are still to be confirmed.

What Campus Crush does

  • Sign-up requires a college email from a supported campus, and a live check that you're a real person.
  • Campus Crush is for people aged 18 and over.
  • You only match, and can only message, when interest is mutual.
  • Some answers, like your red flags, are private and never shown on your profile.
  • You can report or block anyone in a couple of taps.

About anonymous confessions

Confessions are anonymous to other students: they see an alias, never your name or profile. They aren't anonymous to Campus Crush. Moderators can act on posts that break the rules, and posts containing names, social handles, phone numbers or email addresses are blocked.

Meeting someone in person

  • Meet in a public place, on or near campus, and tell a friend where you'll be.
  • Arrange your own way there and back.
  • Trust your instincts. You can leave at any time.
  • If you're in immediate danger, call emergency services (112 in India).
